Tenkara

Tenkara

Tenkara fishing is a traditional Japanese method of fly fishing that utilizes a rod, line, and fly, but without a reel. It's characterized by its simplicity and focus on presenting the fly delicately in small, often mountain, streams. Tenkara rods are typically telescopic, extending to lengths of 12-13 feet but collapsing to a compact 20 inches for easy portability.
